A Close Look at Chekhov’s Uncle Vanya

This website was created by three Middlebury College students for the class “Russian Literature’s Golden Age: 1830-1880”, taught by Professor T. Beyer of the Middlebury College Russian Department. The site is intended to be used as a study guide for readers of A. P. Chekhov’s play, Uncle Vanya:  Scenes from Country Life in Four Acts, and also provide a concise list of additional information and sources that may be useful for further reference.

Please view our About the Site page for more information.
